Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected and processed when you use darioc.ai, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Codice Privacy).
Last updated:
1. Data controller
The data controller is Dario Cargnino, acting as an independent professional. For any privacy-related request you can write to info@darioc.ai.
2. Data we collect and why
When you use the contact form, we process the data you provide and a limited set of technical data needed to deliver and protect the service:
- Name, email address, optional organization, selected topic and the content of your message — used solely to read and reply to your enquiry.
- The language of the site at the time of submission — used to reply in a suitable language.
- Your IP address and the submission timestamp — recorded transiently to prevent abuse (anti-spam and rate limiting).
We do not ask for special categories of data. Please do not include sensitive information in your message.
3. Legal basis
- Responding to your enquiry: performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and/or your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Anti-spam and security measures: our legitimate interest in protecting the website from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Analytics cookies, if and when enabled: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
4. How data is processed
Contact submissions are delivered to our inbox by email over an encrypted SMTP connection; an optional automatic confirmation may be sent back to your address. IP-based rate limiting and a hidden anti-bot field protect the form. Data is processed using appropriate technical and organisational measures and is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.
5. Recipients and processors
Your data may be processed on our behalf by service providers acting as data processors:
- Email/SMTP provider Hostinger — delivery of contact messages and confirmations.
- Hosting provider Hostinger — operation of the website infrastructure.
- Analytics via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (Google), only if you consent to analytics cookies.
Data is not sold and is not disclosed except as needed to provide and protect the service or to comply with legal obligations.
6. International transfers
Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, such transfers rely on adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses) as required by the GDPR.
7. Data retention
Contact correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, after which it is deleted or archived. Technical anti-spam data (such as IP addresses) is retained for a short period and then discarded.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You may exercise these rights by writing to info@darioc.ai.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the service or applicable law. The date below indicates the latest revision.
